Why did you choose to do graduate education at NUS? If you received offers from other universities, why did you pick NUS?

The professors in NUS are prominent and responsible.
Their enthusiasm, valuable guidance, and insightful criticism drive students to a greater improvement in research ability.

I’m a PhD student in the department of statistics and applied probability and my research is about studying the asymptotic theories in statistics.

Share something fun from your graduate journey at NUS.

In our department, the professors and PhD students play badminton every week, which is a very nice leisure activity.

Share a challenge you faced in graduate school and how you overcame it.

The challenge I face during my PhD study is my math background is a little bit weak, and I need to self-study math materials in order to catch up.
