Faculty of Science Dean's Graduate Fellowship

The Dean’s Graduate Fellowship (”Fellowship”) is awarded to PhD candidates who show exceptional promise or accomplishment in research. A number of PhD candidates are selected each semester by Faculty of Science for the award.

*The typical award period for PhD Students are 4 years.

*CPF will be given on top of the stipend amounts for Singapore Citizens.

International Students awarded the Fellowship need to fulfill 416 hours under the Graduate Assistantship Programme

Other Terms and Conditions

The Fellowship is tenable for one (1) year in the first instance and thereafter may, subject to the recipient’s satisfactory progress, be renewed each semester at the Faculty’s discretion. The maximum period of the Fellowship is four (4) years.

The Recipient may not accept employment, whether or not he/she is remunerated, or hold concurrently any other scholarship, fellowship, allowance or other award during the period of the Fellowship, without the prior written approval of the University.

Applicants may apply for the scholarship within their admissions application through GradApp and fulfill additional scholarship application requirements stated there.

 All supporting documents must be uploaded (in pdf format) by the application closing date.

Application will not be complete without the receipt of 2 Referee Reports, which your referees will submit online.
