WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Prospective Students,

Welcome to the Cancer Science Institute (CSI) of Singapore!

CSI Singapore is a state-of-the-art research institute affiliated with, and hosted at, the National University of Singapore. We are one of the five Research Centres of Excellence established by the Government of Singapore. Our 200 staff and students benefit from world-class research facilities, powerful core resources and excellent funding.

CSI Singapore has developed a leading Graduate Programme in Cancer Biology, hosted under the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The programme’s mission is to educate and train the next generation of cancer researchers in a multidisciplinary environment that values fundamental research and its translation to the clinic to improve the detection, treatment and prevention of cancer.

Our graduate students have access to world-class facilities; with the latest state-of-the-art equipment dedicated to cancer research, and opportunities to work with a dynamic team of renowned specialized scientists in an intellectually stimulating environment.

We aim to produce high-calibre researchers skilled in independent research investigation, who are trained to contribute original ideas that advance their specific field of cancer research. We seek outstanding science/medical graduates to enrol in the CSI Graduate Programme to further their academic careers or scientific endeavours.

I encourage you, therefore, to browse our website and reach out to us to find out more about the Graduate Program in Cancer Biology.
