Doing a PhD is adorable because I can work on discovering and creating something new, and it can improve myself on independent research and solving some open problems.

NUS is a famous research university. It provides global experiential learning opportunities and there are many excellent professors.
Can you tell us briefly about your research topic?
My work is mainly on parameter estimation for some commonly used models in spatial statistics.
Why did you choose to do this research for your PhD?
The models I focus on are very popular in spatial statistics, and it can help people solve some problems in biology, ecology and other areas.
How does PhD graduate education compare with your undergraduate experience?
PhD graduate education provides more advanced knowledge and skills, and it practices us to solve the problems more independently.
