Why did you choose to do a PhD?
I’ve always been passionate about studying and I would like to become a teacher and researcher in the future.
Why did you choose to do graduate education at NUS? If you received offers from other universities, why did you pick NUS?
I had opportunities to meet students from NUS when I was an undergraduate student. From their description, I felt that NUS really cared about students’ well-being.
How does graduate school compare to your undergraduate experience?
Doing research is basically a 24-7 job and we may face a lot of challenges. We have to become stronger physically and psychologically to deal with these problems.
What impact do you hope to have with your research?
I hope to draw people’s attention to some topics that have been under-explored heretofore.
