Dr Yin Jia (Thesis Advisor: Prof Bao Weizhu), an alumni of NUS Graduate School’s Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme, was recently awarded first prize in the 2020-2021 East Asia Section of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (EASIAM) Student Paper Award. She is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory at the University of California.
