On hindsight, would you have chosen the same research supervisor for your PhD?

My PhD research supervisors, Prof. Bernard C.Y. Tan and Prof. Atreyi Kankanhalli are instrumental in developing my research acumen and independence.

How did NUS prepare you for your career?

The Department arranges summer events where distinguished IS researchers are invited to interact with the PhD students and for the PhD students to present their research and learn how to address questions. I find this annual event helpful in preparing me for my academic career.

What advice would you give someone considering doing his/her PhD at NUS?

My advice for PhD at NUS is to focus your research on something that you are passionate about. Collaborate with other PhD students who will be your potential collaborators after graduation, and seize the opportunities to present your research and work on your presentation skills.
