Mechanobiology Institute |
The Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) is a Research Centre of Excellence hosted at NUS. Mechanobiology is a truly interdisciplinary science that aims to understand biological systems from a physical and mechanical perspective. The MBI Graduate Programme seeks outstanding STEM students for PhD training in collaborative science and interdisciplinary research. |
The future of biology is not just biology.
The MBI (Mechanobiology Institute) Graduate Programme trains PhD students in interdisciplinary research and collaborative science through the emerging field of biology, Mechanobiology. We aim to train the next-generation of interdisciplinary and quantitative researchers who will drive future biomedical discoveries and technological innovations.
To help you on this journey, our graduate students will have access to our state-of-the-art core facilities in imaging, nano-fabrication, and genomics, and our open-lab provides a dynamic and welcoming environment to learn new knowledge and skills from our diverse faculty and research staff.
Our PhD alumni have gone onto faculty positions in academia, R&D leadership in biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and as start-up founders.
Come and join us to explore the new frontier of biology. We look forward to welcoming you to the MBI community!
