My research interests are in Large Scale Systems Engineering including national systems, future cities and climate change, Systems Modelling and Analysis, Systems Engineering and Project Management, Airport Operations and Development, Policy and Decision Making and Risk Management and Multi-Disciplinary Studies. One of my research grant was on Energy and Environmental Sustainability for Megacities funded by NRF. I was one of the Principal Investigators to develop a mission-oriented systems model for coupled problems in megacity sustainability based on calibration and evaluation of data from test bedding so as to build an ability to extrapolate to other cities. My current research is with a major commercial company to examine advanced digital technologies to build a people-centric, smart future for Singapore and beyond. It involves building smart cities such as AI-enterprise digital platform and traffic management.
