Why did you choose to do a PhD?
I chose to enroll in a doctorate programme with an interest in acquiring research skills related to Cell Biology.

I have been here at NUS for 4 years, and I would describe it as both exciting and rewarding. The vibrant environment keeps you going at a steady and quick pace. My mentors have always been encouraging. I had the freedom to explore my ideas to my fullest potential. This has built a sense of independence and self-confidence at my work.

Scholarships for international students like me give both financial support and academic credit.
