It is awarded based on merit, taking into consideration the candidate’s academic excellence, professional achievements, and leadership potential. Interested candidates may apply for the scholarship through the GDA3 platform after completing their admission application. Only one scholarship may be awarded to each eligible candidate, and the scholarship cannot be combined with other rebates, scholarships, corporate sponsorships, or financial awards. 1. This Scholarship is only tenable for a normal candidature period of 1-year full-time or 2-year part-time postgraduate studies in the NUS Master of Science in Business Analytics (NUS MSBA) programme at National University of Singapore (NUS).
2. The Scholarship can only be used to offset the scholar’s tuition fees (excluding miscellaneous fees) for specified Academic Year, Semester 2. It cannot be applied to the S$100 application fee or the S$10,000 acceptance fee.
3. The scholar must comply with all admissions requirements, including submitting supporting documents and successfully registering for the programme before the Scholarship is disbursed to offset tuition fees.
4. The scholar cannot be a recipient or holder of any other scholarship(s), study bursaries, grant, award, allowance or under any bond unless it has been notified and approved by NUS BAC.
5. Scholars are eligible for only one form of financial assistance. They will receive either the NUS tuition fee rebate (for Singaporeans, Singapore PRs, and NUS Alumni) or another financial aid (such as scholarships or study awards), but not both. Scholars awarded the NUS Merit Scholarship are not eligible to combine it with the NUS tuition fee rebate.
6. A scholar on part-time study may convert to full-time study.
7. Except for Clause 5 above, the scholar cannot change his/her academic load and cannot change to a programme of study different from that stated in his/her offer of admission letter.
8. NUS BAC reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship immediately without notice and to impose repayment of all monies disbursed to the scholar, if the scholar:
   • a) Is found to have committed a disciplinary offence pursuant to NUS’ Statutes and Regulations;
   • b) Has his/her candidature terminated by NUS;
   • c) Participates in activities or behaves in ways detrimental to NUS BAC’s interests, or that may cause embarrassment to NUS BAC;
   • d) Conducts themselves in a manner deemed unbecoming of a scholar by NUS BAC;
   • e) Fails to make satisfactory progress in their programme of study, as determined by NUS BAC;
   • f) Defers their candidature or takes a long Leave of Absence (LOA) for one academic semester or more;
   • g) Should any of the terms and conditions stated are breached by the scholar.
9. If the Scholarship is terminated by either the scholar or NUS BAC (as per Clause 8), the scholar must repay the entire amount disbursed to offset tuition fees as of the termination date.
10. NUS BAC may, at its discretion, modify these terms and conditions or issue additional guidelines regarding the Scholarship, with prior notice. All such guidelines will become part of the Scholarship’s terms and conditions. If the scholar does not accept these changes, they may terminate the Scholarship in accordance with Clause 7.  If the scholar continues to accept the tuition fee subsidy after receiving notice of the changes, they are deemed to have accepted the modifications.
