GRE is optional. However, evidence of strong quantitative, verbal, and analytical skills through GRE scores, as well as indicators of research skills and experience will significantly strengthen your application.
- Intellectual curiosity
- Applicants to the PhD programme in Strategy & Policy need a solid grounding in statistics.
- Background in Economics/Engineering/Computer Science would be useful, but not necessary. Research experience (either arising from a thesis at the Undergraduate or Master’s degree programme) will be a strong plus.
- Strong GMAT or GRE scores
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- A solid statement of research that shows potential for serious research
