  1. A Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) program in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering is a graduate-level program designed to provide students with specialized training and in-depth knowledge in chemical & biomolecular engineering. Whether students are interested in pursuing careers in process design, research & development, manufacturing, or consulting, an M.Eng. degree will equip them with expertise for success in their chosen fields.
  2. The programme is particularly appropriate for you if you wish to develop your research abilities without committing yourself to the larger-scale doctoral degree. The Master’s by Research programmes will appeal to those who wish to formalise work-related projects, or who wish to gain formal research experience appropriate to particular work situations.

  1. Welcome to the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore! Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is a vibrant and versatile discipline that forms a bedrock of our modern lives. Chemical engineers are involved in the manufacture of nearly everything we interact with and use daily, from computers and phones to cosmetics, foods, and pharmaceuticals. Chemical engineers are also at the forefront of addressing some of the most important global challenges facing mankind today, from climate change and sustainable energy to affordable and effective healthcare.
  2. At NUS ChBE, we are strongly committed to nurturing our students to be leaders in research and innovation, engineering practice, industry, government, and entrepreneurship.
