- The NUS Biomedical Engineering programme aims to develop engineers who will be able to analyse problems from both an engineering and biomedical science perspective.
- Students will be educated on the fundamentals and methodologies in electrical, chemical, mechanical and material engineering, with a focus on their application to biomedical problems. This would enable our students to have both the foundation and visibility to develop effective and practical solutions relating to human health

GPA | Prospective students should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree with honours at least Second Class Lower or its equivalent. Candidates applying for University’s Scholarships are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree with honours at least Second Class Upper. |
English Proficiency Tests | TOEFL Internet-based | 85 / 120 |
IELTS | 6 / 9 |
- A good TOEFL score or equivalent if the medium of instruction is not in English. For further information on the English Language requirement: please click here.
- The TOEFL score or IELTS result is only valid for 2 years after the test and should be valid at the beginning of the application period for the designated MSc degree
- Selected applicants may also be required to participate in interviews
