M.Sc. in Chemistry (Research)
The department offers a self-financed 2-year research programme leading to a degree of MSc by Research in Chemistry which will also be supervised by a faculty member. Graduation requirement include 3 coursework courses (4 units each) and submission of an original research thesis.

Target Audience
Bachelor’s degree holders with a background in the sciences that seek to explore many emerging areas in the chemical sciences, including: advanced and functional materials, catalysis and synthesis, chemical biology and biochemistry, energy and environmental chemistry, as well as sustainable chemistry.

- Valid TOEFL/IELTS Score. Applicants whose native tougue and/or medium of university instruction is not in English should provide TOEFL/IELTS as evidence of their proficiency in the English Language.
- TOEFL/IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date and should not have expired at point of application. Expired scores will not be considered for the applications.
