Register to be a Graduate Student Facilitator Today!

As a Graduate Student facilitator, you will get to meet and befriend undergraduates who hail from overseas universities in different parts of the globe.

You will welcome & host them, offering tips and assistance to familiarise them to as many aspects of NUS and Singapore as you can.

You will get to lead and facilitate the project discussions (on-site and virtually), and participate and witness first-hand how like-minded talents from different backgrounds synergise to create something special.

In addition, each graduate student facilitator will receive the following benefits

  • a one-time payment of S$1,200, disbursed upon successful completion of the programme

 

The programme, scheduled for 23-27 June 2025, includes:

  • A comprehensive week on NUS campus, featuring tours and insights into our advanced research facilities.
  • Exposure to pioneering research in fields such as AI, Deep Tech, Biomedical Engineering, Environment Sustainability, Social Sciences and more.
  • An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the “Garden by the Bay”, providing a unique perspective on its conceptualization, development, implementation, and daily operations.
  • Insightful presentations by NUS PhD students and alumni from a diverse range of fields and industries, offering inspiration and knowledge.
  • Interactive workshops focused on the practical use of Generative AI in research, equipping participants with invaluable hands-on experience.

 

Your duties will encompass –

  • welcoming and hosting the attending participants, familiarizing them with various aspects of both Singapore and the National University of Singapore
  • engaging and socialising with participants to foster a welcoming environment.
  • serving as a mentor in a senior graduate capacity, guiding participants through the Programme sessions and providing supporting tour-guide assistance for both on and off- campus site visits
  • leading and facilitating project group discussions during Progamme sessions
  • assisting in roles and functions pertaining to the Programme in the capacity of a current PhD student in NUS
