National Quantum Scholarships Scheme (Master’s)

Under the National Quantum Scholarships Scheme, Master’s scholarships are offered to individuals looking to advance their careers in quantum research or quantum engineering.

The National Quantum Scholarships Scheme aims to nurture a pool of talent in Quantum by providing opportunities to contribute skills and expertise to the quantum industry and research institutions in Singapore.

Stipend Details

*The typical award period for Master's (Research) Students are 2 years.

*CPF will be given on top of the stipend amounts for Singapore Citizens.

Service Commitments, Bonds, Terms and Conditions

Service Commitments

30 hours of contribution per year during studies to quantum ecosystem (e.g., Publicity, teaching assistantship, etc.)

How to Apply?

Applicants may apply for the scholarship within their admissions application through GradApp and fulfill additional scholarship application requirements stated there.

There is no dedicated portal for scholarship application. University departments may get in touch for nominations to NQSS (Master) after application for the respective degree programmes.
