The department will offer up to nine merit-based scholarships to students who demonstrate academic excellence and strong leadership potential. The ME scholarships will be awarded as follows: three to Singapore citizens or permanent residents, three to applicants from ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore) and three to other applicants. Each scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver and a stipend of $6,000 per semester for two semesters. No separate application is required. Applications to Master of Economics (coursework) Program will be automatically reviewed for ME scholarship. The program may ask for additional information from applicants accepted to the programme who are interested in the scholarship. If deemed necessary, partial scholarship will be awarded.
