Quantum Computing Meets Precision Medicine: From Atomic Models to Complex Biological Systems

About the Event

Classical computation has driven remarkable advances in drug discovery and biomolecular modeling—yet fundamental limits remain when confronting the full complexity of living systems. This seminar explores how quantum technologies are poised to advance precision medicine from molecular detail to systems-level understanding. Prof Verma will discuss how quantum computers can drive atomic-level biomolecular simulations for mechanistic insights of drugs while Mr Chen Shaobo will introduce optical quantum computing hardware and its applications in Precision Medicine.
