Our modules are structured to train PhD candidates on latest research techniques and ideas and challenge them to develop a critical research mind. Candidates will be trained in both quantitative modeling (economics-based) and consumer behaviour (psychology-based).

Target Audience

Bachelor’s and master’s degree holder with a strong Mathematics, Statistics and Economics background who are interested in the fields of marketing modeling and consumer behavior.

General Admission Criteria
CriteriaMinimum Score
GPAUndergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Math/Statistics from a very reputable university with good exposure to calculus, differential equation and linear algebra.
GMAT720 / 800

GRE is optional. However, evidence of strong quantitative, verbal, and analytical skills through GRE scores, as well as indicators of research skills and experience will significantly strengthen your application.


  1. Strong GMAT/GRE score

  2. Strong grounding in cognitive and social psychology

  3. Undergraduate and graduate level exposure to information processing, experimental design, behavioural decision-making courses would be good.

  4. Proficiency in spoken and written English

  5. At the graduate level, having graduate studies in Statistics/Math/Applied Math/Engineering/economics/MBA from a very good university/institute would be ideal. Candidates are advised to do background readings in undergraduate Micro-Economics and Marketing.

  6. 2 reference reports from either the industry or academic sector
