Why Did You Choose To Pursue A PhD?
I always wanted to be a researcher and since PhD is all about exploring, learning new skills and getting trained to be better in your field of interest, I decided to go for it.
Why Did You Choose To Pursue Your PhD At NUS?
Firstly, I was attracted by the research works and the research groups at Centre for Quantum Technologies, NUS. They do an amazing job and I knew it would be fun to be a part of it.
Secondly, Singapore is a very beautiful country to live with many places to visit and the climate is awesome.
Can you tell us briefly about your research topic?
I am trying to study ultracold Fermi gas in optical lattices, mainly in disordered optical lattice potentials, and the atomic interactions that lead to localization effects.
Why did you choose to do this research for your PhD?
I was fascinated by the techniques and the science behind cold atom experiments. I knew it would be a wonderful experience to work on these experiments and I was right.
